Understanding What the Choctaw Medicine Men Saw!

The Choctaw Legend of Their Beginning

The Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations apparently started when two brothers received visions of a land to the east of where they were living. The legends would never say where they came from, but that they were led to leave the wicked land where they were and to migrate eastward. Like the cloud and fire that led the Israelites to the "Promised Land," these brothers had a special staff they led them in their exodus. If the staff stood straight up, they remained where they were. If it pointed to the left, they went north. If it pointed to the right, they went south, and if it pointed straight ahead, they would travel east. Eventually, these people came to what is now Central Mississippi.

One brother took his followers north and founded the Chickasaw Nation, while the other brother stayed with his followers and they became the Choctaw Nation. During this time, the Choctaw Nation began to trade with the French and English settlers. When the thirteen colonies went to war with England, the Choctaw Nation fought on the side of the colonists. After the Revolutionary War, they returned to their home land in what is now the States of Alabama and Mississippi.

Their Stolen Homeland

When the United States of America became a nation, even President George Washington sought to find ways to remove the Native American Nations from their lands, but he had no place to remove them to. However, it did not stop the United States Government from trying.

The U.S. Government's answer came inadvertently when President Thomas Jefferson ordered James Monroe (Jefferson's "Special Envoy") and Robert R. Livingston (the French Ambassador) to visit Paris, France in an effort to acquire the Port of New Orleans from French Government for up to ten million dollars. They were caught totally by surprise when the French Treasury Minister François Barbé-Marbois offered them all the land they had on the North American continent for fifteen million dollars. Robert Livingston, a well-trained diplomat quickly took their offer, even though they had no authorization from President Jefferson or Congress to do so. He was afraid that French Emperor Napoleon I might withdraw the offer at any time. He convinced President Jefferson to take the offer and Congress approved it weeks later. Among the land they purchased was all the land that would eventually make up the entire State of Oklahoma.

The War of 1812 and the political aftermath of tensions between the North and South left the "Indian Question" tabled for many years. The U.S. Government did work out an agreement with the Choctaw Nation on October 18, 1820 called the Treaty of Doak's Stand which gave the Choctaw lands in what is now Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. However, very few Choctaw ever moved west as a result of this agreement. However, this agreement did set a precedent for future dealings between the Choctaw Nation and the U.S. Government.

Then in 1830, Congress succeeded in passing the Indian Removal Act of 1830 (Public Law 21-148, 4 Stat. 411). The Choctaw Nation was the first of the "five civilized tribes" to adhere to this Act, sign another treaty, and move westward. Those Choctaw tribe members who wished to stay in Mississippi could become full U.S. Citizens (and still have some land) but those who wanted to stay with their nation could move to what is now Southeastern Oklahoma. The Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek was signed on September 27, 1830, but not proclaimed until February 24, 1831. The Choctaw would move to Oklahoma in three installments between 1831-1833.

When the Choctaw Nation got to Southeastern Oklahoma, they sent out hunting parties to survey the land they had just received. One of those parties went to what is now Heavener, Oklahoma. Seeing the mountain to the east, they determined that it might be a good hunting location. When they got to the top of the mountain, they noticed a treed ravine, which they thought would be replete with game for their hungry people. Instead, they found the Heavener Runestone. Confused as to what they had found, they called upon the "Medicine Men and Women" to examine the Runestone. After their examination, they refused to settle in the area.

The Modern Choctaw Nation

To this day, every major town in the Choctaw Nation has an official casino in it, but Heavener has only the Choctaw Travel Plaza with 37 gaming machines (considerably less than in the other cities under their purvey). They have only had this setup the last ten years. Whereas, the rest of the Choctaw Nation has eight casinos among Oklahoma's 102 casinos. What did these medicine men see that turned them against the Heavener Area? Maybe the Bible Codes will tell us:

The Choctaw Medicine Men and Women were more spiritually attuned than the rest of the tribe. What they saw had nothing to do with the inscription on the Heavener Runestone. What they saw was an occult portal into another universe. The evil spirits they saw in that portal were demons straight from the pit of Hell and the evil giant men (Nephilim) discussed in their legends. They saw this portal as an abomination that they abhorred. They also realized that this portal have been opened for a long time. The final element they saw was the immense occult power that emanated from this Runestone. It is no wonder that they forbid their people for a long time to ascend the mountain and look upon the evil Runestone of Heavener Mountain.

Reading the Heavener Runestone

It is unlikely that the Choctaw Medicine Men and Women could read the inscriptions on the Runestone. Welsh researchers Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett gave us the clues needed to read the stone but it was the Bible Code that tells us what happened. It tells the story of Prince Madoc. Apparently, he was an early prince in the Welch Khumric dynasty. Commissioned to explore North America by his father, he apparently ran into some bad luck and ended up making some kind of a covenant with Cain (Osiris) and his son Horus to get through a "portal" and return home. Apparently, getting home came with some cost.

Eventually, England would invade Wales in the 13th century and make it a vassal country. By 1542, English Parliament had annexed Wales into England during the time of King Henry VIII. In 1542, the "statelets" and "Marcher Lordships" were given seats in Parliament. Unfortunately, the Welch people were not allowed to speak their own language in court or in other official functions. Because of the suppression of the Welch Khumric language, there are very few people could read the inscriptions on the Heavener Runestone. Thankfully, Messrs. Blackett and Wilson could.

We will be doing more research on the Heavener Runestone. We believe that it has something to do with the future of the United States and the world in general. We found a lot more about Heavener in the next Bible Code.
